The other day 2x4 and I were having a conversation with a friend/coworker. The subject came around somehow to my art work. This friend posed the following question of me:
"Have you ever hung your work in a gallery for sale or anything? I could use some cheap artwork."
*Pause*
"Wait, that didn't come out right."

Ha! Unfortunately, sir, you've come to the wrong place. My artwork is quite expensive!
We've got some of your cheap artwork up around apartment. I like it, and it only cost pennies.
As I recall, that same friend saw one of your pieces hanging in the kitchen his first time over here and asked where we "got the bad painting?" Followed quickly by,"You didn't paint that did you?"
Ewwwww.
I've never even said anything that bad.
What did you manage to say?
to which you say: "The price just went up, buddy!"
haha. so, this friend wanted to both know if you had sold artwork in a gallery, and if your artwork was cheap?? HAHA.
As Garth says to Wayne, you should've said: "You'll never afford it!! Live in the now!"
Love to all......
Some say any feedback is good feedback, right?
Silent admiration is sometimes better though... :)
